The BELOThe partial vacuum table was specifically designed for use in textile conservation. Its unique construction allows for partial treatment of the object using standard methods without having to partially cover or move the object on the surface.
This allows for targeted, separate treatment of individual areas of an object. The negative pressure is applied in a locally limited manner.
The extraction is limited to the local area around the partial vacuum funnel beneath the worktop. The worktop consists of a fully perforated sandwich construction. This construction is extremely stable, self-supporting, and solvent-resistant. Beneath this worktop is the partial vacuum funnel with an extraction area of 300 x 300 mm, which can be positioned at any point on the worktop via linear adjustments.
This creates a limited work area with optimal extraction in that area.
The basic element, the worktop, rests freely on the base frame made of aluminum system profile with lockable casters.
Expansion option to a large vacuum table:
For treating objects over their entire surface or for drying, the worktop can be placed in a special fixture. This creates a large vacuum table when needed. Air is extracted across the entire surface of the worktop. This fixture can be added to the partial vacuum table at any time, even retroactively.
By removing the substructure and the top panel, this device can also be used as a washbasin with a maximum fill height of approximately 40 mm. A drain with a ball valve is located on the underside of the basin in the corner area. The accompanying base frame is made of aluminum profile with lockable casters.
Different work surfaces allow for individual adaptation of the work area to the respective requirements. This makes it possible to vary the work area individually depending on the needs of the object.
